Valencia sack Albert Celades

Albert Celades has been relieved of his duties as Valencia head coach.
It comes after Los Che were comfortably beaten 2-0 by Villarreal in Sunday's derby at the Estadio de la Ceramica soccer referee tips.
That defeat was Valencia's third in LaLiga Santander since the restart, following other losses to Eibar and Real Madrid.
Salvador 'Voro' Gonzalez will be in charge of the team in the final six games of the LaLiga Santander season.
Voro has taken over the Valencia first team before. First, replacing Ronald Koeman in 2009, and more recently, after the resignation of Cesare Prandelli.
Results aren't the only reason for Celades' departure after the Spaniard lost control of the dressing room.
Tension within the squad boiled over after last Thursday's loss to Eibar, with Maxi Gomez questioning Celades' line-up.
Celades had also lost the support of the francophone contingent of the dressing room after his strong criticism of Mouctar Diakhaby following the 1-1 draw with Levante.
Valencia's poor form started well before coronavirus suspended the season in March as they've won two of their last 13 matches in all competitions, losing eight of them.
Celades arrived at Valencia on September 11, 2019, and managed to get the players on his side after the surprise sacking of his predecessor Marcelino.
The results on the pitch were good too, as in the opening months Los Che reached the last 16 of the Champions League following victories away at Chelsea and Ajax in the group stages under 2.5 soccer tip.
However, after the Supercopa de Espana in Saudi Arabia, the reigning Copa del Rey champions have seen the wins dry up.
