As a precaution, let your doctor know if you have ever had any eye surgery (such as a cataract) before starting Careprost. Additionally, you need to let your doctor know if you have any underlying cardiac issues, such as low blood pressure or heart rate, or if you have infections in your eyes. Certain changes in your eyes, such as sunken eyes, drooping eyelids, skin tightening around the eyes, abrupt growth of eyelashes, or darkening in the iris or surrounding the eyes, may occur during your Careprost treatment. Usually transient, these adverse effects go away when the therapy is stopped. As a precaution, if you are pregnant or nursing, see your doctor before using Careprost. Children and teenagers are typically not prescribed careprost.
